Dessert Professional Supports C-Cap Through Purchase of Historic Hobart Mixer

Inspired by the classic woody wagons of the 70s, artist Jake Murphy brought some of that old-school funkification to a Hobart A200. The mixer has been stripped and refinished using Auto Air Colors for the acid green sparkle base, then topped with a 2K clear for a finish as bullet proof as the machine. The whole look is completed with genuine Wagoneer "wood-esque" trim and some vintage auto chrome.

Dessert Professional bid on and won this item on an eBay auction that ended today. All proceeds from this sale are being donated by the artist to benefit C-CAP -- Careers through Culinary Arts Program.

Dessert Professional is currently deciding how and where it's best to display this unique item and how it may be used to further the pastry and dessert industries.

Beautiful! However I also have a love of my life. My Hobart! While I did have this painted by an automotive shop I want to add flames on the sides to match my old pickup.
This is just beautiful!
